Four Thousand Weeks – Oliver Burkeman

Ooof. This book was devastating. I would almost say it was disingenuous to call this a time management help book.  It’s more of a brutal reframing of our relationship to time.  Kinda like doing a buddhist meditation retreat where they flog your sense of self out of you.  Slap you right in the face.

I’m hesitant to say more, but suffice it to say it’s probably worth a read especially in our ever accelerating present times, but to say it offers a solution or a better way to get everything done, which I think is why most people look to time management books, I’m sorry to say you might be disappointed, but if you’re ready to take a very hard plunge into reality then this book offers some advice that might help.
